Uchida AP2D38 is a two-section variable displacement axial piston pump in which each piston section operates independently on its own circuit. This allows power to be distributed between the travel drive and working equipment without mutual circuit interference. If required, the pump is supplemented with an integrated gear pump for the pilot control line. Main pump for compact excavators weighing 7–8 tonnes by Hitachi, Hyundai, Caterpillar, Kobelco, John Deere and Daewoo.
