HMGC48 is an axial piston travel motor of the HMGC series by Hitachi with a bent-axis cylinder block, designed for crawler excavators of the 25–30 tonne class. It is an intermediate model between the HMGC32 and the HMGF series, combining a compact design with an increased displacement. The integrated spring-applied parking brake ensures reliable machine retention. The motor is installed in Hitachi crawler excavators.
