Sauer-Danfoss 51V250 — hydraulic motor 250 cm³

The Sauer-Danfoss 51V250 hydraulic motor belongs to the Series 51 — closed-circuit axial piston motors with a bent-axis design and spherical pistons. The displacement control range covers a wide speed range without changing pump flow: the motor starts at full displacement with maximum torque and reduces displacement as speed increases. The 51V version is equipped with proportional control, allowing stepless displacement regulation in combination with a Series 90 pump or other closed-circuit pump. It is used in the hydrostatic transmission drive of heavy forwarders by Ponsse and Valmet, in the undercarriage drive of soil compactors by Bomag and Dynapac, and in Johnston road sweepers.
