Uchida AP2D21 — variable displacement axial piston hydraulic pump 2 × 21 cm³
Uchida AP2D21 is a tandem variable displacement axial piston pump with swash plate. Two independent pump sections in a single housing provide simultaneous supply to different hydraulic circuits — travel drive and working equipment — without mutual interference. Optionally equipped with a third gear pump for pilot control circuit supply. Depending on application, it performs different functions: in 4–5 tonne Kubota mini excavators it serves as the main hydraulic pump; in larger machines by Hyundai, Doosan, Volvo and Kobelco the gear section of AP2D21 is used as a pilot pump within the main pump assembly.
