Nabtesco GM18 — axial piston hydraulic travel motor
Nabtesco GM18VL is a travel motor from the GM series for medium-class excavators. The hydraulic motor, planetary gearbox and parking brake are assembled in a single compact housing. The two-speed mode allows switching between working and travel speed without stopping the machine. Also marketed under the Teijin Seiki and Hy-Dash brands — all three names refer to a structurally identical unit. Used as the travel drive on 10–14 tonne crawler excavators by Komatsu, Kobelco, Daewoo, Sumitomo and Kato.
