Nabtesco GM38 — axial piston hydraulic travel motor
Nabtesco GM38 (GM38H, GM38VB, GM38VL) is a high-power GM series travel motor designed for heavy-duty operating conditions. The hydraulic motor, planetary gearbox and parking brake are assembled in a single cast housing, providing high structural rigidity and resistance to impact loads. The two-speed mode allows the operator to switch between traction and travel modes while moving. Used as the travel drive on 18–25 tonne crawler excavators by Kobelco, New Holland and Kato.
