Hitachi HMGF57 HMV154 — axial piston hydraulic motor 57 cm³
HMGF57 is a two-speed axial piston hydraulic travel motor of the HMGF series by Hitachi. The design combines a swash plate piston block with an integrated planetary gearbox. Two-speed mode and a spring-applied parking brake ensure stable operation on slopes and hard ground.
The HMGF57 series is represented by the modifications HMGF57EA, HMGF57LA and HMGF57PA, each adapted to a specific generation and configuration of the travel mechanism of Hitachi excavators.
HMV154 is the designation of the same motor as part of the final drive assembly with a travel gearbox. Both designations refer to the same unit: HMGC57 is the hydraulic motor marking, HMV154 is the marking of the complete final drive assembly. Used in crawler excavators of 30–35 tonnes.
