The Komatsu HPV35 hydraulic pump is a variable displacement axial piston pump developed in-house by Komatsu, belonging to the HPV series. The smallest displacement in the series — designed for compact crawler excavators, it supplies oil to the working functions and travel drive simultaneously. It is typically installed in a tandem configuration — two pumps on a common shaft driven by the engine.
