Komatsu HPV90 — axial piston hydraulic pump
The Komatsu HPV90 hydraulic pump is a variable displacement axial piston pump developed in-house by Komatsu, belonging to the HPV series. Installed in tandem configuration on 20-tonne class crawler excavators — a single engine shaft drives both pumps simultaneously, distributing flow between the working equipment and the travel drive. With the transition to the -6 generation, Komatsu replaced the HPV90 with the HPV95 featuring an updated design, while the equipment class remained unchanged.
