Komatsu HPV132 — axial piston hydraulic pump
The Komatsu HPV132 hydraulic pump is a variable displacement axial piston pump developed in-house by Komatsu, belonging to the HPV series. Installed in tandem configuration on 30–40 tonne class crawler excavators, it supplies oil to the working equipment and travel drive simultaneously. It replaced the HPV160 with the transition to newer equipment generations — similar to the HPV90 → HPV95 transition in the 20-tonne class: the machine class remained unchanged while the pump design was updated.
