The Komatsu HPV55 hydraulic pump is a variable displacement axial piston pump developed in-house by Komatsu, belonging to the HPV series. The mid-range displacement of the series — installed in tandem configuration on 10–13 tonne class crawler excavators, it supplies oil to the working functions and travel drive simultaneously.
