Komatsu LPV45 — axial piston hydraulic pump
The Komatsu LPV45 hydraulic pump is a variable displacement axial piston pump of the LPV series developed in-house by Komatsu. Unlike the smaller sizes in the series, the LPV45 uses a cradle-type design instead of the standard swash plate — this provides greater stability during variable load and low-speed operation. It is installed as the main working pump on Komatsu mini excavators, while in heavy equipment — large crawler excavators and dozers — it serves as the cooling fan drive pump (fan pump).
