Liebherr LPVD165 — variable displacement axial piston hydraulic pump
Liebherr LPVD165 is a variable displacement axial piston pump from the LPVD series for open hydraulic circuits, the largest size in the series. The shaft rotates the cylinder block with pistons that slide along the swash plate and perform reciprocating motion: as they move away from the plate they draw in oil, on return they displace it into the pressure line. The greater the swash plate inclination angle, the longer the piston stroke and the greater the displacement per shaft revolution. At this size the LPVD series reaches its maximum output, making it suitable for the heaviest machinery with continuously high hydraulic power demand.
