Kayaba MAG26 axial piston travel motors are designed for open circuit hydraulic systems as a final drive for crawler equipment. The design combines an axial piston swashplate motor with a planetary gearbox with rotating housing (case-rotation). Standard features include a parking brake, two-speed mechanism and shockless relief valve for smooth braking and cavitation prevention. Used as a travel motor (final drive) in 3–4-tonne mini excavators from Komatsu, Takeuchi, Kubota, Caterpillar, Yanmar, Doosan and Yuchai.
