Sauer-Danfoss MMF046 MMV046 — axial piston hydraulic motor

Sauer-Danfoss Series 40 hydraulic motors MMF046 and MMV046 are axial piston units with a swashplate design for closed-circuit hydrostatic transmissions of medium power. The MMF046 is a fixed displacement hydraulic motor with a constant ratio between working fluid flow and output shaft speed. The MMV046 is a variable displacement version based on a cradle swashplate with two-position hydraulic servo control, allowing speed and torque modes to be switched under load. The M46 frame size is the largest in Series 40 and delivers the highest torque within this family while maintaining the compact dimensions characteristic of the swashplate design. A wide selection of mounting flange options, including a cartridge flange for compatibility with CW and CT planetary gearboxes, makes the MMF046 and MMV046 a flexible solution for final drives of BOMAG, CASE, JCB, HAMM, AMMANN, DYNAPAC, Caterpillar and Bobcat mobile machinery.
