Sauer-Danfoss MPV046 MPT046 — axial piston variable displacement hydraulic pump
Sauer-Danfoss Series 40 hydraulic pumps MPV046 and MPT046 are axial piston units with a swashplate design and variable displacement of 45.9 cm³, designed for closed-circuit hydrostatic transmissions of medium power. The swashplate inclination is steplessly adjusted in both directions from the neutral position, providing smooth flow reversal and flexible speed control of working mechanisms. The MPT046 is a tandem version with two pump sections on a common shaft for simultaneous supply of two independent hydraulic circuits. Unlike smaller frame sizes in the Series 40, the MPV046 and MPT046 feature an extended range of control options — mechanical, hydraulic and electronic proportional, including three-position electric control. The pumps can be equipped with an integrated charge pump and a wide selection of auxiliary mounting flanges for connecting additional hydraulic pumps. Compact dimensions with high power density make the MPV046 and MPT046 an optimal choice for mobile machinery with limited mounting space.
