Sauer-Danfoss Series 20 pumps in frame sizes PV23, SPV23, PVD23 and SPV2/089 are axial piston units with a swashplate design and variable displacement for closed-circuit hydrostatic transmissions. The swashplate is steplessly adjusted in both directions from the neutral position, providing smooth flow reversal and flexible flow control without additional valve fittings. The tandem version PVD23 combines two pump sections on a common shaft for simultaneous supply of two independent circuits from a single drive. The SMF2/089, M23 and MF23 motors are fixed displacement units operating in tandem with Series 20 pumps, forming a unified hydrostatic power transmission system. The frame 089 size delivers greater torque compared to smaller units in the series while maintaining the compact dimensions characteristic of swashplate design.
