Sauer-Danfoss PV21 SPV21 PVD21 SPV2/052 SMF2/052 M21 MF21 — hydraulic pump / motor
Sauer-Danfoss Series 20 pumps in frame sizes PV21, SPV21, PVD21 and SPV2/052 are axial piston units with a swashplate design and variable displacement, designed for closed-circuit hydrostatic transmissions. The swashplate is steplessly adjusted in both directions from the neutral position, varying flow from zero to maximum and providing flow reversal without additional valve fittings. The tandem version PVD21 combines two pump sections on a common shaft for simultaneous supply of two independent circuits. The SMF2/052, M21 and MF21 motors are fixed displacement swashplate units operating in tandem with Series 20 pumps in a unified hydrostatic system. Output shaft speed is determined by working fluid flow, and torque by differential pressure between the working ports.
