Sauer-Danfoss 42R51 42L51 — axial piston hydraulic pump 51 cm³
Sauer-Danfoss Series 42 hydraulic pumps 42R51 and 42L51 are axial piston units with a cradle swashplate design and variable displacement of 51 cm³ for closed-circuit hydrostatic transmissions of medium power. The R and L designations indicate the input shaft rotation direction — clockwise (CW) and counter-clockwise (CCW) respectively. Stepless swashplate adjustment in both directions from neutral provides smooth flow reversal without additional valve fittings. The 42R51 and 42L51 are the largest frame size in the Series 42 and deliver maximum flow within this family while maintaining the compact dimensions of the cradle design. A wide range of servo control options — mechanical (MDC), electric proportional (EDC, NFPE) and hydraulic proportional (NFPH) — allows flexible adaptation to various transmission control schemes for Bobcat and Atlas Copco mobile machinery.
