Sauer-Danfoss JRR051 and JRL051 are variable displacement axial piston hydraulic pumps of the Series 45 Frame J for open hydraulic circuits of mobile machinery. In Case IH, New Holland and John Deere combine harvesters, the pumps are used as a cooling fan drive, header hydraulics or secondary pump in a tandem configuration — wherever a reliable independent flow is needed for functions independent of the main pump. In 5–15 t wheel loaders by Caterpillar and Volvo CE, these pumps serve the cooling fan drive. In tractors and sprayers by Case IH and New Holland — boom and fan circuits, and in backhoe loaders by Case and New Holland — the steering or auxiliary hydraulic circuit.
