The Sauer-Danfoss PV90R100 / PV90L100 is a closed-circuit axial piston unit of the Series 90 with a swash plate. The design features nine pistons with slipper pads sliding on the swash plate, providing smooth flow regulation from zero to maximum in both directions. PV90R100 and PV90L100 are mirror-image versions — with right-hand and left-hand shaft rotation respectively. They are used as the drive pump in soil compactors by Bomag, Dynapac and Ammann, Vermeer construction equipment, Lannen wheeled excavators, as well as Ponsse, Valmet forestry machines and Timberjack forwarders. As part of a tandem pump assembly, they are installed in skid steer loaders and compact track loaders by New Holland series L180–L190, L228–L234, L330, C185–C190, C232–C238, as well as Case SR240, SR250, SR270, SV280, SV300.
