Linde MV — variable displacement motors with through-drive shaft for agricultural machinery
Linde MV are B-series axial piston variable displacement motors with a through-drive shaft for hydrostatic transmissions of agricultural machinery. The through-drive design allows pumps and auxiliary system motors to be connected in series without additional splitter gearboxes, simplifying the transmission layout of combines and tractors. The series covers a displacement range from 50 to 186 cm³ and is the motor counterpart to the PV pump series in a closed hydrostatic circuit.

Advantages of Linde MV
- Through-drive shaft — enables pumps and motors to be connected in series without splitter gearboxes, reducing the number of transmission components and simplifying maintenance
- Compatibility with the PV pump series — the MV motor pairs with the PV pump in a closed circuit, ensuring coordinated drive performance across a wide load range
- Smooth stepless regulation — variable displacement provides precise speed and tractive force control according to operating conditions
Applications of Linde MV
Linde MV series motors are used in the hydrostatic transmissions of travel and crop handling drives in grain and forage combines, self-propelled sprayers and tractors — including machines from CLAAS, John Deere, Case IH and Fendt, where the MV is the standard motor component of the continuously variable transmission.
Parts and repair of Linde MV variable motors
Quality spare parts are available for the Linde MV series: cylinder blocks, shafts, pistons, valve plates, seals and repair kits. Parts are selected using equipment catalogues and hydraulic diagrams, ensuring accurate identification without errors.
Aspect Plus provides professional repair of Linde MV variable motors: fault diagnosis, replacement of worn components and final bench testing to confirm restoration of factory specifications.
Provide the equipment make or motor model — we will select the parts and prepare a quote.
