Hitachi HPV116 is a variable displacement axial piston hydraulic pump, the main pump for 20–22-tonne class first-generation EX series excavators. It is the predecessor of the HPV118 — both have similar displacement but belong to different design generations. Tandem design with two sections on a common shaft. Installed on Hitachi, Fiat Hitachi and John Deere equipment of the corresponding class.
