Hitachi HPV050 is a tandem variable displacement axial piston hydraulic pump, the main pump for 12–13-tonne class excavators. Full model designation — HPV050FW-RH18C. The design includes two sections of 7 pistons each, drive and driven shafts. It is the entry-level model in the HPV series compared to the HPV102 — with lower output and designed for lighter class equipment. The pump is original equipment for Hitachi EX-5 series excavators.
