Sauer-Danfoss 42R41 42L41 — axial piston hydraulic pump 41 cm³
Sauer-Danfoss Series 42 hydraulic pumps 42R41 and 42L41 are axial piston units with a cradle swashplate design and variable displacement of 41 cm³ for closed-circuit hydrostatic transmissions of medium power. The R and L designations indicate the input shaft rotation direction — clockwise (CW) and counter-clockwise (CCW) respectively. Stepless swashplate adjustment in both directions provides smooth flow reversal and flexible actuator speed control. Compared to the 28 cm³ frame size of the same series, the 42R41 and 42L41 deliver higher flow at the same speed, making them suitable for more power-intensive drives while maintaining compact dimensions. A wide range of servo control options — mechanical, electric proportional and hydraulic — allows the pump to be integrated into various transmission control schemes for Bobcat mobile machinery.
