Sauer-Danfoss Series 20 pumps in frame sizes PV22, SPV22, PVD22 and SPV2/070 are axial piston units with a swashplate design and variable displacement, designed for closed-circuit hydrostatic transmissions. Displacement is steplessly adjusted in both directions from the swashplate neutral position, providing smooth flow reversal and flexible actuator speed control. The tandem version PVD22 combines two pump sections on a common shaft to supply two independent hydraulic circuits from a single drive. The SMF2/070, M22 and MF22 motors are fixed displacement swashplate units forming a unified closed hydrostatic system with Series 20 pumps. Compared to smaller frame sizes in the series, the frame 070 units are rated for higher nominal speed and greater torque.
