Sauer-Danfoss Series 42 — hydraulic pumps / motors
Sauer-Danfoss Series 42 is a line of cradle swashplate axial piston hydraulic pumps and motors with variable displacement from 28 to 51 cm³ for closed-circuit hydrostatic systems. The series is rated for a maximum pressure of 415 bar for the 28 and 41 cm³ sizes and 350 bar for the 32 and 51 cm³ sizes. The designation 42R indicates right-hand shaft rotation, 42L indicates left-hand rotation. Control is provided through a compact servo control system including mechanical and electric feedback controls, hydraulic and electric proportional controls, and a three-position control.

Applications Sauer-Danfoss Series 42
Sauer-Danfoss Series 42 pumps and motors are used in the hydrostatic transmissions of compact loaders, mini excavators, and trenchers from manufacturers such as Bobcat, Vermeer, and Toro. The series is also used in road rollers, industrial-grade self-propelled mowers, and specialised medium-power agricultural equipment.
